Hardware Integration & Test Electrical Engineer III (Space Electronics)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, USA; onsite laboratory work. US citizenship required.

Salary: USD 100,000–125,000 yearly, depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Integrate, characterize, test, and deliver spacecraft electronics to customers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and test conductor for assigned projects.
• Plan and execute product integration, characterization, and testing in a laboratory environment.
• Troubleshoot complex electronics from component level through system functionality using standard lab equipment.
• Review and clarify production travelers and test procedures, and read or edit software test scripts.
• Analyze production metrics and lead efforts to improve yield and clarify test flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, or equivalent.
• Experience producing and testing electronics, particularly digital circuits, processors, FPGAs, and power supplies.
• Ability to read and understand digital and analog schematics.
• Experience debugging in a lab with bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Required familiarity with quality control, configuration management, and root cause analysis methods.
• US citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Digital or analog design experience, including schematics, assembly instructions, test plans, and test results.
• Experience with schematic, bill of materials, ERP, work order, and assembly traveler management tools.
• Experience implementing engineering changes to schematics, bills of materials, and related documentation.
• Spacecraft hardware and electronics assembly and testing experience.
• Proficiency with C++ and Lua or Python scripting.
