Senior Controls Service Specialist (BAS)

Location: United States, Ohio, Cincinnati; field service coverage of the Cincinnati, OH area

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on commercial building systems and components covered by service agreements.
• Respond to customer service calls onsite, remotely, and in emergency situations; identify faults, test components, and apply corrective actions.
• Commission DDC control and HVAC systems, perform system checkout, and support building systems startup for service installation projects.
• Troubleshoot control, equipment, mechanical, and electrical problems.
• Manage assignments within schedule and budget, and complete daily service work orders and time reports.
• Prepare service estimates, bills of materials, and sequences of operation; train customers and provide technical support to end users and coworkers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on field experience with DDC control systems for commercial buildings.
• Valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence.
• Hands-on experience with BAS controls and knowledge of DDC control theory and applications.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, VFDs, split systems, pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Experience with electronics, basic electrical circuits, computer hardware, and software.
• Ability to work independently and without supervision.
