What you will do

  • Model advanced oncology nursing practice across assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based standards, policies, guidelines, equipment, and clinical practices.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary departments to improve care quality and patient outcomes.
  • Lead quality and process-improvement initiatives, assess outcomes, and implement evidence-based solutions.
  • Provide clinical consultation and content expertise to nursing staff and policy committees.
  • Mentor nurses, NPCS staff, and students while supporting professional growth and curriculum development.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing required; a Clinical Nurse Specialist track is preferred.
  • Current Massachusetts RN license or compact licensure required.
  • Three years of oncology nursing experience and three years of oncology experience.
  • Expertise in oncology nursing standards and evidence-based practice.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Oncology-specific certification required within three years of hire.
