What you will do

  • Present cellular therapy trial concepts, objectives, and treatment details to potential patients.
  • Assess and screen patients for eligibility, support informed consent, and enroll participants on study protocols.
  • Coordinate patient care and physician orders to maintain protocol compliance.
  • Review patient condition changes, adverse events, concomitant medications, protocol compliance, and treatment response with physicians.
  • Maintain regulatory documents and coordinate monitoring and auditing visits, including communication with monitors and auditors onsite.
  • Work with research bases and study sponsors on clinical trial requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing education program; BSN preferred.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
  • Current Virginia RN licensure preferred.
  • Current BCLS or ACLS certification required.
  • Experience with computer data entry and database management.
  • Ability to interpret clinical protocols, informed-consent documents, technical procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

  • Clinical research experience.
  • OCN, SoCRA, or ACRP certification.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
