Clinical Research Nurse/Coordinator (Oncology)

Salary: $47,964.80–$128,939.20 annually

What you will do

• Present cellular therapy trial concepts, objectives, and treatment details to potential patients.
• Assess and screen patients for trial eligibility, support informed consent, and enroll patients on protocols.
• Coordinate patient care, physician orders, dose modifications, adverse-event reporting, and protocol compliance.
• Collect and maintain regulatory documents and coordinate monitoring and auditing visits.
• Review patient condition changes, concomitant medications, treatment response, and study findings with physicians.
• Collaborate with research bases, sponsors, monitors, and auditors.

Requirements

• Experience in clinical research is preferred.
• Computer data entry and database management experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interpret clinical protocols, informed consent documents, technical procedures, and regulatory documentation.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program; BSN preferred, with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current Virginia RN licensure is preferred; current BCLS or ACLS certification is required.

Nice to have

• OCN, SoCRA, or ACRP certification.
• Oncology clinical research experience.
