Clinical Lab Assistant I - CMCF

Location: 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215; 100% onsite

Salary: $42,500–$47,800 per year

What you will do

• Support the Stem Cell Transplant Lab, Novel Cell Therapy Lab, and Cellular Therapy Testing Lab.
• Follow aseptic technique and clean room procedures.
• Perform and document scheduled cleaning of laboratory equipment.
• Transport samples within the laboratory and to external laboratories using in-person delivery or the PEVCO system.
• Check processing supply kits for accuracy and expiration, obtain additional supplies, and document them.
• Collect and enter cell infusion record data from locations across hirify.global, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital campuses.

Requirements

• Ability to perform tasks under general supervision and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, seeking advice when needed.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control.
• Ability to follow applicable safety, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct policies.
• Working knowledge of computer systems is desired.
• Compliance with cGMP, cGTP, and other Cell Manipulation Core Facility regulatory standards.
