Adjunct Faculty - CID CORE Arts and Humanities

East Texas A&M University’s College of Innovation and Design provides online competency-based higher education courses.

What you will do

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the required Arts and Humanities discipline.
• Facilitate fully online competency-based education courses using the standard syllabus and course materials.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Provide timely feedback on assignments, assessments, and evaluations.
• Assess student grades and support progression through course competencies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field for undergraduate teaching, or a terminal degree in the field or a closely related field for graduate teaching.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work after business hours and on weekends.
• Cover letter, resume/CV, three professional references, and transcripts are required.

Nice to have

• Current relevant professional credentials.
• College or university teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
• Prior relevant industry experience.
• Online or hybrid teaching experience.
