Adjunct Faculty - CID CORE Social Sciences (Social Sciences)

Location: Commerce, Texas, United States; fully online format. Work may be required after business hours and on weekends.

Research Compliance Office at the Texas A&M University System, with the role based at East Texas A&M University’s College of Innovation and Design.

What you will do

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the required social sciences discipline.
• Deliver courses in a fully online, competency-based education format.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments, assessments, and evaluations.
• Facilitate courses according to the standard syllabus and course materials.
• Assess grades and support student progression through competencies and course requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field for undergraduate teaching, or a terminal degree in the field or a closely related discipline for graduate teaching.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work after business hours and on weekends.
