Adjunct Faculty - CID CORE Literature and Languages

Location: Commerce, Texas, United States; fully online competency-based education format. Work may be required after business hours and on weekends.

What you will do

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the required literature and languages discipline.
• Facilitate fully online competency-based courses using the standard syllabus and course materials.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Provide timely feedback and assess assignments, competencies, evaluations, and grades.
• Support student progression through course requirements and complete other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field for undergraduate teaching, or a terminal degree in the field or a closely related discipline for graduate teaching.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work after business hours and on weekends.

• Current relevant professional credentials.
• College or university teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
• Prior relevant industry experience.
• Online or hybrid teaching experience.
