Portfolio Manager II (Entertainment & Sports)

Location: In office at 400 North Roxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, California, US 90210

Starting base salary: $53.56–$91.22 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage an assigned portfolio of entertainment and sports credit exposures in line with organizational goals and risk-management practices.
• Underwrite new and existing credits, including moderate to complex structures, modifications, and extensions.
• Analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, projections, and cash-flow pro formas to assess creditworthiness.
• Prepare and present credit recommendations, underwriting memorandums, and approval documents to credit risk partners.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk ratings, reporting covenants, covenant compliance, and quarterly and annual reviews.
• Partner with relationship managers, clients, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressively increasing experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management in relevant industries.
• Intermediate experience in credit management and lending operations, with a strong understanding of risk-management principles.
• Intermediate analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and client-service skills, including the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Industry-specific knowledge and expertise.
