Portfolio Analyst II (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $24.30–$30.00 per hour, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 5% each.

What you will do

• Support management of the commercial real estate loan portfolio within the Real Estate Lender Finance Group.
• Analyze financial statements, track loan covenants, collect portfolio data, and maintain credit files.
• Monitor individual credits and assess portfolio risk in line with the credit culture and risk tolerance established by senior management and the Board.
• Author credit memoranda for loan upsizes, credit amendments, and loan risk-rating updates.
• Lead process improvements, procedures, and job aids documenting Portfolio Analyst responsibilities.
• Manage multiple workflows and adapt to changing business demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience underwriting, structuring, or managing commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong organizational, client relations, process improvement, and business writing skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and sit for extended periods.
• Employment is subject to successful credit, criminal background, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening.
