Payroll Specialist

Salary: €32,400–€48,600 annually

What you will do

• Collect and input payroll and benefits data for processing by the external payroll provider.
• Manage monthly payroll variables, including absences, overtime, bonuses, and benefits.
• Review and validate provider-prepared payslips and ensure payroll deadlines are met.
• Monitor payroll regulations and applicable National Collective Labor Agreements (CCNL).
• Answer employee and external partner questions about payroll, compensation, and benefits.
• Improve payroll processes and support insurance programs, protected categories, and policy updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• 2–3 years of related professional experience.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with good analytical and numeracy abilities.
• Communication, problem-solving, teamwork, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Italian and English is required.
• Ability to coordinate multiple requirements and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, clients, and partners.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Zucchetti Payroll Software.
• Knowledge of the temporary staffing and agency-work sector.
