Personal Financial Counselor - Italy (On-Site)

Location: Italy, on-site at assigned military installations

Salary: $58,440–$93,500 annually, plus potential short-term incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Help service members create spending plans for extended absences and deployments.
• Develop financial education materials and deliver classes, workshops, briefings, and seminars across the military lifecycle.
• Coordinate with installation and military branch points of contact to align services with installation needs and program requirements.
• Use approved virtual counseling, secure online chat, video communication, and teleconference tools when authorized.
• Manage duty-to-warn situations, communicate relevant trends to leadership, and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or an associate degree with four years of experience, or a high school diploma with six years of experience.
• At least three years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English are required.
• Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process.
• One of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
