What you will do

• Lead complex substation engineering projects, including research, design, equipment specification and selection, installation, start-up, commissioning, and evaluation.
• Develop engineering procedures, codes, standards, and technical documentation for complex problem areas.
• Provide technical leadership and advise management and customers on advanced engineering studies and applications.
• Manage bid and proposal evaluation processes, including technical reviews and recommendations.
• Oversee engineers, interns, craft personnel, technicians, and other professionals while mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Coordinate budgeting, estimating, forecasting, accounting, and work order management for engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum; electrical or civil engineering is preferred.
• Senior level: 5+ years of relevant experience with EIT/FE, or 7+ years without EIT/FE.
• Principal level: 9+ years of relevant experience with PE registration, or 15+ years without PE registration.
• Consulting level: 14+ years of relevant engineering experience and PE registration.
• Ability to demonstrate the technical skills and core competencies established for the applicable engineering level.
