Software Development Manager - Banking (.NET/C#)

Location: Onsite in San Diego, Irvine, Las Vegas, Centennial, Overland Park, Omaha, or Edison, United States. Remote and hybrid work are not available.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 per year, plus eligible discretionary bonus targets of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Lead one or more local or near-shore software development teams and develop managers and technical resources.
• Build the next-generation Core Settlement System and enhance existing capabilities across the financial platform.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements and design enterprise-wide solutions.
• Prototype and improve solutions focused on security, performance, continuous integration, testing, and code quality.
• Monitor development activity, costs, quality, client requirements, plans, and reports for senior management.
• Maintain alignment with company goals and comply with banking security, audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience designing interactive web applications, web services, and vendor API integrations.
• 10+ years of experience managing or leading technical resources.
• Proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, Java, JavaScript, MVC, Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, and Swagger Docs.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with financial services and clearing applications is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, strong communication skills, and knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns.
