Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; remote work permitted 1 day per week

What you will do

• Lead the definition, design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications supporting digital banking operations and business process management.
• Create, edit, and deploy workflow solutions using PaaS solutions and the open-source Flowable platform.
• Develop and manage customer reporting solutions for the BPM platform.
• Develop and maintain the bank’s securitization platform.
• Build backend services with microservice architecture and frontend applications using SPA technologies.
• Perform ETL functions and use Git and Jenkins for code maintenance and deployment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a related role supporting banking operations.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Unix, and Perl scripting.
• Experience developing data migration solutions for decommissioning legacy enterprise applications and creating custom reports.
• Experience with microservice backend architecture, SOA frontend technologies, Git or SVN, Jenkins, and relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work at the Plano, Texas worksite; remote work is permitted 1 day per week.
