Training Manager

What you will do

• Develop and manage onboarding and training programs for assembly employees.
• Lead classroom and hands-on sessions covering orientation, safety, technical skills, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with HR, subject matter experts, production supervisors, and production leadership.
• Assess trainee readiness before deployment, provide on-the-job coaching and retraining, and address performance concerns.
• Maintain training records, completion reports, schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and implement continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership or training role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to teach hands-on skills.
• Experience developing training programs and managing training logistics.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a changing production environment and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Technical training or an associate degree.
