Focus on coordinating long-range planning, incident root-cause analysis, budgeting, performance improvement, and daily operations in support of the Plant Manager.

What you will do

  • Support planning, coordination, and control of plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and construction.
  • Promote safety management practices, enforce safe work procedures, and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Assist with long-range maintenance, capital improvement, equipment reliability, operational excellence, and organizational development plans.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, cost control, materials management, accounting, human resources, and compliance processes.
  • Ensure plant activities comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain relationships with employees, leadership, local officials, community stakeholders, and internal partners; act for the Plant Manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or business management; alternatively, an associate degree in a technical field with equivalent applied experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or performance-related roles.
  • Experience with business or financial processes and human resource practices.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and safety management practices.
  • Leadership, supervision, team development, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, support change initiatives, and drive performance improvements.
