Operations and Maintenance Technician (Renewable Natural Gas)

Salary: $33.65–$48.80 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and maintain the renewable natural gas facility and associated pipeline in compliance with permits and applicable requirements.
• Establish a safety-focused, environmentally conscious, and compliance-oriented operating culture.
• Develop maintenance plans, coordinate maintenance activities, oversee planned outages, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to plant issues outside regular hours and collaborate with the team to achieve production and reliability goals.
• Maintain operator qualification and training programs and develop plant standard operating procedures.
• Support budgeting, cost management, material ordering, invoice approval, stakeholder relationships, and special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of direct operations and maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Valid United States driver's license and ability to meet strict DOT requirements.
• Working knowledge of reading and interpreting system drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in renewable natural gas or natural gas pipeline operations and maintenance.
• Technical training through military service, trade school, industrial experience, or a technical training school.
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Military or merchant marine experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
