Demand Lead, Commercial Planning (AI)

What you will do

• Synthesize demand signals across accounts, categories, and channels into pressure-tested gross sales outlooks.
• Conduct trend-versus-forecast reviews using sell-through, retailer inventory health, and new product performance.
• Build constrained and unconstrained demand scenarios, monthly phasing, and NPD financial hedges.
• Use Claude and AI-powered BI platforms for automated reporting, scenario modeling, anomaly detection, and narrative generation.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Planning, Finance, and Product Development to align assumptions and drive forecast accountability.
• Develop planning processes, reporting frameworks, and KPIs covering forecast accuracy, bias, attainment, and inventory health.

Requirements

• Professional or project-based fluency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to create effective prompts, evaluate AI outputs critically, and build repeatable AI-assisted workflows.
• Comfort with BI and data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, or SQL.
• Working knowledge of demand planning, S&OP, or commercial analytics concepts.
• Ability to analyze sell-through, inventory health, POS trends, promotional lift, and new product performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent analytical capability.

• Experience with AI-powered analytics platforms.
• Formal or extensive experience in demand forecasting and commercial planning.
