Senior Manager Packaging Engineering (Biotech)

Location: New Albany, Ohio, United States; onsite role

Salary: $148,715.15–$201,202.85 annually

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of packaging engineers supporting commercial secondary packaging operations.
• Set priorities for day-to-day manufacturing support and drive operational excellence across commercial operations.
• Troubleshoot production deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective CAPAs.
• Improve packaging line reliability, process robustness, efficiency, and performance while reducing downtime, waste, and variability.
• Own packaging configurations and specifications and maintain the qualified state for commercial products.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, external supply partners, and suppliers on compliance, change control, inspection readiness, and technical standards.

Requirements

• Doctorate plus 2 years, master's degree plus 6 years, bachelor's degree plus 8 years, associate's degree plus 10 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of experience in Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Design.
• At least 2 years of direct people management or leadership experience involving teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience supporting packaging operations, manufacturing performance, process improvement, or qualified commercial processes.
• Must be based in New Albany, Ohio, United States for this role.
