Process Engineer, Packaging (MedTech)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America; up to 10% domestic and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Plan and execute moderately complex packaging change-control projects involving conceptual evaluation, design, and validation.
• Plan and execute qualifications for new packaging equipment and controls, including vendor and site acceptance testing.
• Participate in technical design reviews for machine requirements and manufacturing and product specifications.
• Train and support packaging operators, engineers, and technicians in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve quality, technical, and manufacturing issues, including audit actions, NCRs, and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with safety, quality, engineering, vendors, and operations to improve business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree; engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant professional work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an empowered team environment.
• Experience with packaging or manufacturing operations, process design and validation, equipment, and change-control projects is preferred.
• Experience in ISO- and FDA-regulated environments, systems engineering, vendor collaboration, and data analytics is preferred.
