Senior Plant Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: On-site in Loveland, Colorado, United States

Annual salary: $175,000–$200,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing operations for instruments, accessories, service parts, and consumables at the Loveland facility.
• Direct performance across safety, quality, scheduling, buying, engineering, maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping.
• Set the site’s multi-year strategy, develop business plans, allocate budgets, and ensure appropriate staffing and resources.
• Deliver customer requirements, production plans, capacity targets, inventory improvements, and on-time delivery above 95%.
• Build and develop a high-performing operations organization while reducing labor, cycle-time, overhead, scrap, and material costs.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Engineering teams on compliance, launches, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of manufacturing experience, or a master’s degree with 12+ years; at least 8 years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading manufacturing value streams in a high-mix, low-volume environment and operating within a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated people leadership, change leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience using continuous improvement methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and engagement.
• Strong project management, prioritization, business judgment, data-driven root cause analysis, and execution skills.
• Ability to travel 10%, hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record, and lift or carry equipment up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with FDA, ISO 13485, customer audits, or regulated quality systems.
• Experience with hirify.global Business System, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, daily management, standard work, visual management, Kanban, or Heijunka scheduling.
