Software Engineering Manager, SVP – AI Platform Development

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead the AI Platform Development team delivering shared AI/ML services, infrastructure, and tooling.
• Partner with the Lead Architect to define and execute the AI Platform vision, including agent and tool support.
• Deliver standardized, self-service platform capabilities aligned with security, risk, and compliance requirements.
• Define reference architectures, standards, guardrails, and engineering practices for reliability, resilience, observability, and controlled change.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, security, risk, and application teams to align platform capabilities and controls.
• Build, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent through leadership and mentoring.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong command of Python, C#, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring software engineering and technical teams.
• Strong background in cloud-native architectures, AWS, Azure, distributed systems, and shared services.
• Deep understanding of software development principles, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or a related industry.
• Experience with internal platform product development and developer enablement.
• Experience influencing senior executives and business stakeholders.
