Carrier Procurement - Dry Van (Logistics)

Location: Little Rock, AR; onsite work in the downtown Little Rock office

Salary: $40,000 base salary plus commissions

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
• Source and secure truckload capacity for customer shipping needs.
• Negotiate carrier rates while maximizing profitability.
• Use transportation management systems and load boards to book and manage freight.
• Monitor shipments, communicate updates and delays, and resolve service issues.
• Collaborate with sales, analyze market conditions, and meet activity and performance goals.

Requirements

• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work for extended periods at a computer workstation and communicate by phone and email.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, customer service, sales, or carrier procurement is preferred but not required.
