Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually, dependent on experience

What you will do

• Assemble, develop, maintain, and train project teams while coordinating all program phases from RFP and order confirmation through detailing, purchasing, production, delivery, and installation.
• Develop and manage critical project timelines, obtain customer approvals, and monitor execution through completion.
• Review and approve design, detail, and architectural fixture drawings before customer release.
• Manage customer inventories, reorders, and finished-goods inventory.
• Monitor production through physical work-in-process reviews and labor and cost report analysis; support corrective actions and cost-reduction programs.
• Partner with Sales and Operations on estimating, costing, revenue growth, and gross-margin growth; some travel to other divisions is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of project management experience, preferably in the consumer environments industry.
• Proven ability to create and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Understanding of ERP fundamentals and experience with multimillion-dollar accounts in a support capacity.
• Experience in wood and/or metal manufacturing is an asset.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, communicate professionally, stay organized, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Ability to lead smaller programs from concept through completion and supervise project coordinators.
