P & A Forecaster (AI)

Location: Canberra, ACT, Australia; ideally based at the Australian Support Office, with remote arrangements considered for the right candidate.

What you will do

• Maintain the monthly demand forecasting cycle and submit product orders to vendors through the Trek ERP platform.
• Maintain accurate delivery dates and upload vendor production updates and delivery schedules.
• Share forecast updates with suppliers, US forecasters, product teams, and APAC stakeholders.
• Coordinate with retail purchasing teams and local markets on product ranges, purchasing plans, and new-product forecasts.
• Communicate delays and issues, collect market feedback, and collaborate with suppliers to optimize inbound product flow.
• Identify process gaps, lead improvements to forecasting tools and workflows, and provide analysis and scenario modelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced data skills and experience with planning or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate across functions, markets, time zones, and cultures.
• Curiosity about AI tools for forecasting, demand planning, or data analysis, including generative AI.
• Experience with demand planning, inventory management, commercial forecasting, or parts and accessories is beneficial.
