Senior Manager Logistics ANZ (Warehousing and Transport): Leading end-to-end road, rail, and sea logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand with an accent on cost management, governance, compliance, and service performance. Focus on managing large budgets and P&L accountability, improving multi-modal logistics networks, and building high-performing dispersed teams.
Location: Freshwater, with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote; the role is based out of the Southbank, Melbourne CBD office.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end logistics across Australia and New Zealand, including road, rail, and sea transport and warehousing operations.
- Own the logistics cost base, including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, invoice approvals, accruals, and accounts payable processes.
- Set transport and warehousing strategies and translate business needs into operating plans and service outcomes.
- Drive improvements in safety, service, quality, and cost using KPIs and measurable performance gains.
- Manage governance, compliance, productivity initiatives, and performance reviews with transport and warehouse partners.
- Build high-performing teams and collaborate with procurement, operations, finance, planning, and customer teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading transportation and logistics across Australia and New Zealand, including distribution centres and 3PL operations.
- Experience managing multi-modal road, rail, and sea transport and warehousing operations at scale.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations, safety, compliance, large budgets, forecasting, month-end routines, accruals, cost control, and full P&L accountability.
- Experience managing leaders and large, dispersed teams while developing capability and improving engagement.
- Experience with ERP/SAP, TMS, WMS, Tableau, and continuous improvement or transformation initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma.
