Vice President / Senior Vice President, Human Resources (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Develop and execute an integrated people and organizational strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Advise the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board on talent, workforce planning, leadership development, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, executive search, succession planning, performance management, coaching, and employee development.
• Strengthen culture, employee engagement, communications, recognition, accountability, and change management programs.
• Oversee compensation, equity, benefits, incentive programs, executive compensation strategy, and market benchmarking.
• Direct HR operations, employee relations, compliance, HR systems, policies, reporting, consultants, and governance support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including senior HR leadership roles.
• Experience leading HR within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another innovation-driven organization.
• Proven success supporting rapid growth, organizational change, and business transformation.
• Expertise across talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and employment practices.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership teams and Boards, with strong communication, influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MA/MS, or related qualification.
• Experience in a publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Experience supporting Compensation Committees and Board governance activities.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar certification.
