Software Development Manager (Go)

Location: Onsite at the HQ in San Diego, California. Other onsite offices are available in Las Vegas, Nevada; Centennial, Colorado; Irvine, California; Overland Park, Kansas; Salt Lake City, Utah; and New Jersey. Remote and hybrid work are not available.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Define and build functional and non-functional requirements with IT leadership.
• Lead one or more local or nearshore development teams.
• Design and prototype enterprise solutions focused on security, performance, continuous integration, and code quality.
• Develop full-stack web applications, Go APIs, REST/SOAP services, and vendor API integrations.
• Collaborate with technical leads, development managers, development teams, and stakeholders across the organization.
• Improve development capabilities, refactor the codebase, solve technical problems, and coach engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of full-stack web development experience, including Go API design, REST/SOAP web services, and vendor API integration.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading technical resources.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency with Go, Java, or .NET.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and technical and non-technical communication.
