Clinical Supervisor & Field Experience Coordinator

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States. This is an on-campus, non-remote position.

Salary: $68,000–$72,000 per year; proposed minimum salary of $5,666.67 per month.

What you will do

• Provide daily and weekly clinical supervision to graduate marriage and family therapy and clinical mental health counseling students in the on-campus training clinic.
• Supervise counseling and therapy services delivered in person and through telehealth.
• Coordinate external field-experience sites and clinical internships, serving as a liaison with site partners and program staff.
• Collaborate with the center’s Director, Assistant Director, Program Coordinators, and administrative staff.
• Lead clinic operations and provide leadership in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.
• Support continuous-improvement planning, committees, operational projects, and special assignments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program or a related field.
• At least two years of postgraduate clinical experience in community mental health, private practice, or a related setting, including therapy services and program management.
• Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist or eligible for Texas licensure by the time of hire.
• Eligibility for or status as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Approved Supervisor-in-Training.
• Knowledge of COAMFTE accreditation standards and strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship may not be available.

Nice to have

• Five years of relevant clinical experience, including counseling services and program management.
• Field coordinator experience.
• Experience in an on-campus counseling training clinic.
• Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Nights and weekends may be required as needed.
• Work takes place in the Community Counseling and Family Therapy Center on campus.
