Business Intelligence Intern (Data Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in a hirify.global office, with four days in the office and one day working from home; possible locations include Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, and Tampa.

Salary: $20–$25 per hour, with possible additional commission or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Conduct root cause analysis with project teams to identify performance gaps, risk exposure, and execution delays.
• Design and implement improvements across processes, tools, systems, and organizational structures.
• Analyze operational inefficiencies using internal and external data sources.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, executive-ready narratives, metrics, and data-driven KPIs.
• Translate operational pain points into data requirements and collaborate with data engineering and field technology teams.
• Create SOPs, documentation, and training materials while monitoring adoption and measurable impact.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in business, engineering, data analytics, or a related field, with graduation in December 2027 or later.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and analytics platforms.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Must verify employment eligibility to work in the United States.
• Available for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week summer internship from mid-May through August 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience with project delivery, scheduling, or cost control tools such as Procore, Smartsheet, or Primavera.
