Business Intelligence Analyst Sr

Location: Hybrid role based in Bloomington, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $94,400–$129,800 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Build and maintain optimized data foundations for analysis and reporting within the Agency Administration division.
• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from internal and external sources to identify business performance patterns, insights, and trends.
• Prepare reports and data visualizations, including charts, dashboards, and heat maps, to support business decisions.
• Design actionable KPI reports, perform root cause analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop, test, and launch data products and dashboards into production.
• Create data-driven recommendations and forecasts related to potential costs, risks, and profits of new initiatives.

Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Insurance industry knowledge and experience analyzing data in traditional and big data environments.
• Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Python, Git, data storytelling, and forecasting.
• Experience with data visualizations, quantitative and qualitative analysis, relational databases, and output verification.
• Strong operational, organizational, technical, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, and work across functional areas.
