Facilities Manager (Data Center Cooling)

What you will do

• Manage daily facility operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, fire protection, equipment, utilities, and grounds.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and oversee technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, building codes, manufacturer specifications, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation procedures, fire drills, incident response, hazardous waste management, and environmental reporting.
• Plan facility upgrades, expansions, and capital improvement projects, coordinating construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Manage scopes, budgets, timelines, progress reports, facility spending, service contracts, and vendor performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of facilities or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contractors, and cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

• CFM, FMP, PMP, or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality management systems.
