Sr Transportation Ops Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Monitor the performance and cost of cross-border transportation networks using existing and newly developed KPIs.
• Identify and resolve systemic service-performance issues across transportation service providers and expedite networks.
• Monitor compliance issues within Mexico's intra-country transportation network, including Carta Porte, DODA/PITA, OEA, and C-TPAT.
• Partner with third-party logistics freight bill audit and payment providers to validate financial-process and account-data accuracy.
• Support in-transit visibility by ensuring transportation milestones and events are transmitted through EDI or API integrations.
• Supervise supplier shipping methods according to established instructions and develop solutions when instructions are unavailable.

Requirements

• Experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or trade compliance.
• Advanced English at B2 level and written and verbal Spanish.
• Excel, planning, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with cost-reduction initiatives and continual improvement.
• Industrial engineering education or four years of experience in a related field.
• Analytical problem-solving, decision-making, project-management, communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
