What you will do
- Define and continuously improve material flow and warehouse standards, including processes and equipment.
- Define and coordinate logistics standards and projects focused on operational efficiency, cost drivers, KPIs, and benchmarking.
- Identify logistics improvement opportunities and develop best practices for processes, factory layouts, material-flow equipment, warehouses, and KPIs.
- Lead and participate in global, cross-functional projects by providing logistics expertise.
- Develop and maintain a logistics assessment concept across plants.
Requirements
- Academic degree with a focus on logistics or engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or as a plant logistics manager in the automotive industry.
- Experience managing logistics projects and processes, including complex projects and international teams.
- Project leadership and management experience.
- Lean experience, preferably with Lean Black Belt certification.
- Knowledge of SAP, logistics and production flows, warehouse operations, and material-flow planning; advanced English required.
