Manager, Operations Management (1st Shift) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; onsite, first shift. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, final testing, and related production operations for capital equipment, systems, and components.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational metrics, lead milestone meetings, and improve cycle time and departmental performance.
• Resolve operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate conformance with customer and vendor requirements.
• Plan capacity optimization and monitor manufacturing processes that collect and report key measurement data and real-time status.
• Drive Lean, safety, quality, process improvement, and corrective-action initiatives.

Requirements

• Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within the relevant job family.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using judgment.
• Experience managing employee training, development, performance goals, selection, hiring, rewards, and discipline.
• Ability to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety training and departmental safety policies.
• Tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive issues and interacting with customers, vendors, or suppliers.
