International Finance - AVP (Financial Reporting)

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close activities for assigned APAC house and fund entities.
• Own accounting processes including intercompany accounting, accruals, allocations and balance sheet substantiation.
• Deliver statutory and management reporting, including local GAAP financial statements, variance analysis and stakeholder commentary.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, process documentation, issue remediation and audit readiness.
• Coordinate tax compliance, regulatory filings and ad-hoc surveys across assigned APAC jurisdictions.
• Manage and develop COE resources while partnering with Finance, business stakeholders and external service providers to resolve issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with 9–12 years of progressive financial reporting experience.
• Experience with US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with financial systems or ERPs is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in the asset management or fund management industry.
