Director, Finance - Singapore (Financial Services)

Location: Singapore, SGP. Office: One Raffles Place Tower 2 #12-61. Full-time, regular employment, 40 hours per week. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Singapore and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Support the Head of Finance, Singapore, and manage Finance activities for the Singapore branch and Capital Market Service license entity.
• Prepare and review internal, external, regulatory, statutory, and profit and loss reporting, including variance analysis.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to MAS and maintain accurate financial reporting systems.
• Review new products and advise on regulatory and accounting structures, systems, and controls.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external auditors, advisors, tax teams, and regulators.
• Support financial controls, reconciliations, financial statements, tax reporting, transfer pricing, and Finance projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements for wholesale banks and Capital Market Services licensing.
• Accounting knowledge covering Global Markets products such as global credit financing, FX, repo, and bond trading.
• Knowledge of local accounting requirements and generally accepted accounting principles; IFRS and Canadian requirements are preferred.
• Experience with wholesale banking products and financial reporting systems, including controls, maintenance, and reconciliation.
