Director, Finance - Singapore

Location: Singapore, SGP. Onsite at One Raffles Place Tower 2.

What you will do

• Support the Head of Finance, Singapore, and manage Finance staff across reporting, expense processing, projects, and initiatives.
• Oversee timely and accurate internal, external, regulatory, statutory, and profit-and-loss reporting, including variance analysis.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to MAS and maintain effective financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting records.
• Review new products and advise on regulatory and accounting structures, systems, and controls.
• Prepare financial statements and support income tax returns and international transfer pricing requirements.
• Maintain financial reporting systems and collaborate with internal and external auditors, advisors, tax teams, and regulators.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Singapore and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• At least five years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Qualified CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with MAS regulatory reporting for wholesale banks and Capital Market Services license requirements.
• Accounting knowledge covering Global Markets products such as global credit financing, FX, repo, and bond trading.
• Knowledge of local generally accepted accounting principles; IFRS and Canadian requirements are preferred.
