Accountant

What you will do

• Maintain the general ledger, books of original entry, financial records, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, financial schedules, budgets, strategic plans, and other reports.
• Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with GAAP, SOX, XBRL, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain internal accounting controls and support internal and external audits.
• Provide billing, intercompany collections, acquisition and divestiture support, and assistance with system conversions, integrations, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting disciplines, industry practices, and standards.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and collaborate with management and department colleagues.
