Training & Development Manager (Biotech)

Location: US - Ohio - New Albany; travel up to 10%.

Salary: USD 99,790.85–135,011.15 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze performance issues with managers and develop training and performance strategies that support compliant, continuously improving operations.
• Design and develop learning solutions using instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and the ADDIE model.
• Manage curricula, assignments, training materials, and integration with the Learning Management System.
• Gather and evaluate metrics to measure the effectiveness of training and performance solutions.
• Write instructional materials, leaders’ guides, and on-the-job training content; deliver Train-the-Trainer classes as needed.
• Lead new-hire onboarding for hirify.global Ohio employees and contingent workers in partnership with HR and hiring managers.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years, or an associate’s degree with 8 years, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
• Relevant experience may include instructional design, human performance technology, life sciences, or training.
• Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, curriculum development, performance consulting, and needs analysis.
• Experience with learning management or training systems, regulated environments such as FDA or OSHA, and e-learning delivery systems.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, facilitation, analytical, and executive presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Excel.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience as a performance consultant, instructional designer, or curriculum developer.
• Project management and budget management experience.
• Experience with SumTotal, Articulate Storyline, or Adobe Captivate.
• Experience with augmented reality, virtual reality, and generative AI.
