Mechanical Engineer (Data Center Cooling)

Company

Builds liquid-cooling and large-scale air-cooling systems for data centers, including hyperscale and AI environments.

What you will do

• Develop custom engineered products across liquid-cooling and air-cooled product families.
• Define product requirements with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and customers.
• Analyze systems using FEA, CFD, analytical formulas, and benchmark designs.
• Size and optimize pumps, valves, and flow-control devices, including piping layouts and material selection.
• Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA to improve design quality and reliability.
• Create BOMs and commercialization documentation while integrating designs with manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

• BSME from an accredited university or applicable engineering work experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience; HVAC experience is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally as a self-starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• CFD experience.
• P.E. certification.
• MSME degree.
• SolidWorks, DraftSight, AutoCAD, or Revit skills.
