What you will do

• Develop new business relationships and service existing commercial and business banking customers.
• Identify prospective customers through referrals, cold calls, networking, professional organizations, and community events.
• Promote banking products and services, resolve customer issues, and support loan and profit objectives.
• Build referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and internal Commercial, Retail, and Trust teams.
• Represent the Bank in community events and civic organizations.
• Prepare business development reports and advise Business Development Officers and Commercial Bankers on development approaches.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• At least 7 years of experience, including commercial or business banking experience.
• Knowledge of lending laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with job-related software, including basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
