IT Director (AI)

Location: Onsite in Tempe, Arizona, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead daily IT operations, service delivery, support processes, documentation, metrics, and governance.
• Oversee infrastructure, cloud services, networks, collaboration platforms, endpoints, enterprise architecture, and system integrations.
• Lead cybersecurity, risk and vulnerability management, incident response, security awareness, compliance, monitoring, backup, and business continuity.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure, Autodesk solutions, engineering platforms, project management systems, and other business applications.
• Drive process improvement, automation, AI platform adoption, technology enablement, and digital transformation.
• Develop the technology roadmap, manage budgets and vendors, and lead, mentor, and develop the IT team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years leading teams at the Director level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, and end-user support for a growing organization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, identity and access management, and modern cybersecurity practices.
• Experience with IT governance, service delivery standards, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, organizational change, and hands-on operational leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services organizations.
• Familiarity with Autodesk products, BIM workflows, and engineering technology environments.
• Experience with AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, PMP, ITIL, Microsoft, or cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience supporting multi-office, rapidly growing, and geographically distributed organizations.
