Location: On-site at the Pampa, Texas jobsite, with weekly travel to job sites; candidates must reside in one of the listed states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or West Virginia.
Salary: $127,500–$169,500 in Virginia; $133,700–$177,700 in Washington.

What you will do
- Lead on-site execution of L0–L6 commissioning for mechanical, electrical, and other MEP systems in mission-critical data centers.
- Develop site-specific execution plans, test scripts, procedures, and functional performance tests from the overall commissioning plan.
- Manage construction observations, system testing, integrated systems testing, startup, energization, and final handover.
- Own site commissioning schedules, track prerequisites and milestones, and drive first-pass test success.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate resolutions with contractors, vendors, construction managers, and clients.
- Mentor commissioning engineers and field staff while maintaining documentation, budgets, safety, quality, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive building systems commissioning experience, including leadership across L0–L6 commissioning in data center or mission-critical facilities.
- 3+ years of hands-on leadership experience directing commissioning activities and mentoring field teams.
- Deep knowledge of HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, boilers, UPS, generators, medium-voltage electrical systems, BMS, and control sequences.
- Working knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, and related industry standards, plus strong troubleshooting, functional performance, and system integration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent industry or military experience is considered.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must reside in an eligible state.
Nice to have
- CCP, CxA, or equivalent commissioning certification.
- Professional Engineer license.
- Experience with hyperscale data centers, large technology clients, multiple construction delivery methods, or commissioning process development.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or CxAlloy.
