Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, USA; 1st shift, on-site maintenance of production and facility equipment.

What you will do

  • Perform emergency, routine, preventive, and seasonal maintenance on production lines, building equipment, grounds, and facility infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, robotic, PLC, and small outdoor power equipment.
  • Maintain preventive-maintenance records and work orders, enter system updates, and help create new PM procedures.
  • Read and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints, and building schematics.
  • Identify required parts and materials, communicate with vendors, support waste management, and maintain the 5S program.
  • Follow safety, training, and compliance requirements while communicating effectively across departments.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience with equipment and automation in automation, robotics, metal fabrication, paint, or assembly operations.
  • Maintenance Technician I knowledge, including problem identification, solution implementation, work prioritization, and safe equipment, building, and grounds maintenance.
  • Ability to work from drawings, sketches, and blueprints and to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, and NEC requirements.
  • PIV and aerial-lift training and certification, or the ability to acquire and maintain required service-equipment certifications.
  • Basic PC and Windows knowledge and effective cross-department communication skills.
