New Product Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and release BOMs and product structures for moderately complex assemblies.
• Develop and validate Operation Method Sheets and manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Support 3D solid model analysis, design reviews, and Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, and Design for Test activities.
• Execute change control processes, including ECOs, CCBs, supplier problem sheets, and specification waivers.
• Lead managed builds, support pilot builds, and drive manufacturing readiness through HVM handoff.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams, contract manufacturers, and piece-part suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant professional experience with another educational background.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and support product issue resolution.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and work around potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment and hand or power tools.
