Decision Analytics Associate Consultant (Pharma Analytics)

Location: South San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices. Client-facing travel is required as needed.

Salary: $120,000–$137,000 per year.

What you will do

• Apply advanced analytics, statistical models, and data-driven problem-solving to pharmaceutical and life sciences business challenges.
• Design custom analyses using Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, Visual Basic, Excel, and related analytical tools.
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions, strategic recommendations, and actionable client insights.
• Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, workstream management, stakeholder communication, deliverables, and implementation support.
• Use AI, machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics, and other advanced techniques to improve decision-making.
• Present findings to senior client leaders, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline, with strong quantitative and analytical coursework in areas such as statistics, data science, econometrics, engineering, or applied mathematics.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business analytics, consulting, or related quantitative roles; a PhD may substitute for work experience.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial analytics, including forecasting, patient analytics, market access, sales analytics, customer analytics, or real-world data applications.
• Experience leading projects, managing multiple priorities, influencing senior stakeholders, and communicating with executive-level audiences.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics, or advanced analytical techniques to business problems within the last three years.
• English fluency and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship are required.

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences clients.
