Infrastructure Systems Administrator II-ONSITE in Nebraska

Location: On-site in Fremont, Nebraska, United States. Local travel may be required. The role may require nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call work during maintenance or operational needs.

Salary: $40.11–$70.19 per hour.

What you will do

• Support and oversee internal Windows and Linux systems, backups, storage, virtualization, and monitoring services.
• Administer Remote Desktop Services, clustering, Hyper-V networking, Azure infrastructure, backups, and restoration.
• Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and upgrade Microsoft Windows server operating systems and administrative tools.
• Monitor system and application logs, verify hardware and service availability, and manage SolarWinds alerts and reporting.
• Research automated approaches to system administration, document resolutions, maintain knowledge databases, and manage change requests.
• Provide internal client support, resolve network and service issues, produce ticketing metrics, and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems, Exchange, Active Directory, Hyper-V networking, Azure infrastructure, TruNAS storage, backups, and patch management.
• Knowledge of change management processes, CMDBs, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Strong network diagnostics, system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, prioritization, escalation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support internal clients and collaborate with technical teams.
• Must work on-site in Nebraska and be flexible to support nontraditional hours, maintenance windows, on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays when required.
