Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator II (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and administer Windows and Ubuntu desktops, laptops, servers, virtual machines, and lab systems.
• Support Windows and Linux systems in an Active Directory environment.
• Manage networks, online file storage, hardware, software, licensing inventories, and configuration baselines.
• Respond to user issues through the ticketing system and assist with onboarding and daily IT needs.
• Configure and maintain conferencing A/V systems and digital signage.
• Maintain documentation, identify infrastructure needs, and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in corporate information technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience administering Windows and Linux systems, including Ubuntu, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2019 and 2022.
• Proficiency with VMware ESXi, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, WSL, Active Directory, and automated management tools.
• Working knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer service, and written and oral communication.
• Must meet U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulation eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing government IT standards and requirements, including NIST 800-171 and ITAR/EAR.
